About us
A foundation built around love, light and healing
Madrid Foundation Inc strengthens communities through civil rights advocacy, education, environmental stewardship and agricultural opportunity.
Madrid Foundation Inc was formed around a simple conviction: communities already hold the answers to their own challenges, and what they most often lack is sustained support.
Our work spans civil rights advocacy, community seminars, fundraising for local causes, community facilities, environmental stewardship and agriculture. In every program we begin the same way — by listening to the people closest to the need, then funding what they tell us will make the difference.
We measure the foundation by what changes in people's lives: a family with steady food, a young person who finishes a course, a neighbourhood that keeps its river clean, a person who understands and can claim their rights.
What guides us
Listen first
Every program begins with the people who live with the problem every day, not with a plan written elsewhere.
Stay long enough
Short interventions rarely hold. We commit to communities across seasons, not single events.
Account for everything
Every donation is recorded the moment it succeeds, and program spending is reported to supporters.
Dignity always
People are partners in this work, never case studies. Stories are shared only with consent.

How we are funded
Madrid Foundation Inc is funded entirely by voluntary support: one-off donations, monthly giving from individuals, sponsorship of specific programme activities, and admission to our seminars and annual gala.
Every payment is recorded the moment it succeeds and credited to the programme the giver chose. Sponsorship and ticket income is held against the programme it names.
